How to Request a Home Visit
Whilst we encourage our patients to come to the surgery, where we have the proper equipment and facilities available, we do appreciate this is not always possible. In this respect, if you do need a home visit, you can help us by calling reception before 10:00.
Home visits are provided for those patients whose illness or disability is sufficiently severe that it is not possible for them to attend the practice. When requesting a home visit the receptionist will ask for your name, address, contact telephone number and your symptoms. It is vital that you give accurate information to the receptionist as this enables the doctor to assess the urgency of the call. These requests will be triaged by the Doctor and home visits will only be carried out at the discretion of the Doctor.
You can also be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP.
